(Plus 4 Foolproof Practice Tips So You Sound Like a Pro!)
Y’all, it is a great day because I am knee-deep in piano Christmas music! Nothing makes me happier than playing through Christmas music for the first time each season – except maybe hearing my students play it all month long. Christmas music brings people together like singing a nostalgic Christmas tune with the piano in the background and so I made something for you this year.
I took the three easiest, happiest, most sing-along-able Christmas songs and turned them into super simple, melody-only sheet music that even my 6-year-old students are already playing after one lesson!
No chords.
No scary black keys.
Just the tune you already know and love – written with a note name guide to help you decipher the piano ‘code’.

My 4 Secret Practice Tips for Beginners (So You Sound AMAZING in One Week)
- Sing the note names out loud while you play
- Sing “E-E-E-E-D-D-D…” instead of just pressing the keys. Yours ears will remember twice as fast!
- Use the “3-Times-Perfect” rule
- Play each tiny section (usually 4 measures) three times perfectly before moving on. Miss a note? Start the three times over. It’s like magic for amazing playing.
- Slow is Pro
- Play at turtle speed until it’s smooth, then speed up a tiny bit every day. Fast and messy never wins the race.
- End every practice with a performance
- Take a bow to anyone that’s around (even your dog!) and play the whole song from start to finish. If you mess up, pretend nothing wrong happened and keep going (circle it or make a note because you’ll go back and fix it in practice time tomorrow). One perfect run-through locks it tight in your brain.

Do these four things for 10 minutes a day and I promise your family will think you’ve secretly been taking lessons for months.
These easy piano Christmas songs are the exact ones my newest beginners are using to feel like rockstars before December even gets here. Print them, put them on your piano stand, and watch jaws drop when you play real Christmas music next week!
P.S. Once you nail these three songs, I have a full “Jingle All the Way” songbook with 10 songs waiting for you! But for today, these three songs are my gift to you.
Go make some holiday magic – I’m cheering you on from my own snowy studio!
